Secured™ Receives 8(a) Certification from the Small Business Administration

SBA 8(a)

Secured™, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in cutting-edge privacy, cyber, and security solutions and mission support, is proud to announce that we have received 8(a) certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) Program.

The 8(a) Business Development Program is a nine-year program that assists eligible small, disadvantaged businesses in gaining a foothold in federal government contracting. To qualify, a business must meet stringent criteria, including being at least 51% owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, demonstrating good character, and showing potential for success.

“Receiving this 8(a) certification is a significant milestone for Secured™,” said Gabe Rubio, CEO of Secured™. “It underscores our commitment to delivering unparalleled cybersecurity and AI solutions to our clients while contributing to the growth of underrepresented small businesses. This certification will allow us to pursue more opportunities, particularly in the federal marketplace, enabling us to further expand our impact.”

With the 8(a) certification, Secured™ is now eligible to compete for sole-source contracts of up to $4 million for goods and services and $7 million for manufacturing. This certification also offers Secured™ access to specialized business training, counseling, and marketing assistance.
The certification marks a new chapter for Secured™, aligning with our mission to foster technological innovation while supporting national security and data protection initiatives. We look forward to leveraging these opportunities to better serve our clients and create a lasting impact in the industry.
